Sestack's ad with his adorable dog
Googling to get reaction to yesterday's debate, I found an article attributing Sestack's big gains to his ad which used an analogy about cleaning up the the mess created by Bush and Toomey and doing the same for the messes his pet, Belle creates. http://www.philly.com/philly/opinion/20101021_Michael_Smerconish__The_ad_that_may_bag_it_for_Sestak.html

Curious, I looked for the ad. Now, I don't know enough about PA politics to say it helped, but it is a cute ad, showing Sestack with his attractive family and their puppy. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/10/sestak-ad-features-bag-of-dog-waste-video.php

Thought others might like to see it too.

4. I think so too
It also makes for a pleasant, low key a - but one with a tough (and accurate) political charge.

3. What a great ad!! He's so likeable with his cute family and ADORABLE dog.
It's a great analogy for cleaning up the Republicans' mess! Sadly, there's nothing cute about them.

8. It's like FDR's Fala remark or Nixon's Checkers speech all over again.
Voters like it when candidates involve their family and pets. It makes the candidates seem more human.

9. I live in PA near Philadelphia and have never seen this ad
It's not like I don't watch much TV either, I only watch stuff on the local CBS, NBC, and FOX channels, which I think along with ABC would be the most obvious places to put political ads to reach the most PAers. (I do see lots of ads for the senate race however, for both sides)

It was a good ad I thought looking it up on youtube to watch just now though.
