DeFazio wins his house seat... Another one of the good guys!
Was one of those targeted by the Citizen's United enabled crowd...

Fortunately he appears to have won tonight...

It looks like even perhaps Kurt Schrader might hang in and win. His race was projected a tossup for so long.

Kitzhaber looks like he's in a war for the governor's race now though. Both knotted up at 49%. That's the one race Oregon really has to worry about tonight!

2. OK. I sent him money. On with articles of impeachment...
against that creep Roberts. We could get a vote on it in the lame-duck session.

3. DeFazio is a good example of what I expect a Democrat to be
He's my Congressman and he doesn't take any shit. The R candidate was a total wacko and DeFazio hit him hard in debates and with TV ads. Keep it up Pete!

6. I love that he won - however
I don't love that he ran on more logging and against "waste" in the stimulus, while running down to Coos Bay and bragging up the rail line that Arnie Roblan worked for - which will use stimulus money.

He runs so far left he turns right quite a lot.
