1. McMahon Didn't Really Want the Job
I didn't see McMahon put up much of a fight for the job. His wife's a judge, and his kids are grown. He just wants to sit back, run for borough president, something easy like that . . . possibly make a run for Mayor.

He never really wanted the job in the first place, but he was the only one with stature to take it after Vito self-destructed. I don't think he liked the commuting, and he certainly didn't like the back-stabbing.

2. Yeah, but he thought he would win by voting against health care
Turns out it didn't help much, if at all.

3. Staten Island is bright crimson
It's like a whole other world from the other boroughs. Not surprised at this at all.
