To the liberal non-voters *UPDATE*
by Fokozatos siker
Nov 03, 2010

I was going to post an image of my nine-year-old friend Katie. I was going to tell you what a great little girl she is. I was going to tell you about how much her family loves her, and how hard they have worked to learn how to keep Katie healthy, despite her cerebral palsy. I was going to tell you about how her little brother Jake lovingly teases his sister, even when straining to push her wheelchair.

1. Had a bit of that myself today
Oregon's House is divided, the Senate is up one Dem, and Oregon's health care hangs in the balance. My health care. The health care that literally saved my husband's life. Also the health care that will be put together under the insurance exchange over the next few years. So much at stake, terrified at what we could lose. No way in hell would I complain, or vote Green, because Oregon doesn't have a public option or single payer. It's not perfect, but it's saved a lot of lives. I don't understand why people can't put real lives ahead of their political agendas either. I sincerely hope it isn't because they prefer animals to people, even thought they say it often enough.

5. Obama just sent you a message, didn't he.
He has now given up completely, The rich get their tax breaks and there will no climate bill.

Face it Obama is a very weak president and a lot of people stayed home because it really doesn't seem to matter whether we control congress or not. Obama is afraid to stand up for what he told us he believes in. I voted a straight Dem ticket as usual but I certainly understand those who thought it a waste of time.

6. so, you "understand" their throwing the most vulnerable to the
repukes.

"stayed home because it really doesn't seem to matter whether we control congress or not."
which is to say, because they are ignorant.

at least you are one who honestly describes whose actions, or willful lack of actions, caused this.

thx for commenting, bowens43.

8. That is so stupid
as to not even be worth a response. If you think the legislation passed in the last two years is the same as a Republican would have passed, then you really haven't been paying attention.
