Dems Learn to Throw Elbows.
Obama plays basketball, not chess. Or not on TV, anyway. Throw some Elbows. Senate Leadership better throw some elbows as well.
The Democratic Party needs to Lead and stand for Democratic Ideals if we want to win. We squandered our easier opportunity, but we still have a shot. We need to fight like we mean it for the next two years or we are going to look like Tea Bagger Central.

Lead, people Lead!!! The view from other than the front is pretty Stinky, especially behind the Tea Bagger bunch.

1. Tell it to Obama.
He's the one who needs to hear, and learn from this.

4. That, Dear Peggy, is exactly what I want us to do.

I want us to tell Obama and the leadership what to do because they have obviously been listening to the wrong folks for far too long. It begs the question" How's that been working for you?" Not so good, huh?

Time for Change.

3. We, the people need to Lead and tell the leadership how to
behave. They are obviously not figuring it out on their own. Lead or get the hell out of the way and follow us Progressive Dems, not the damn Tea Party.

6. How do we get the President to fight back? He comes out and calls Bullshit
on all this, and he will see such an enthusiastic upsurge in support we'd be unstoppable.

7. We were unstoppable when Obama was pushing our agenda. That was how Obama made it to the
White House. He jumped ship from his own fierce momentum and switched horses to the DLC agenda. It is a backward, cowering ride that kowtows to corporate interests, plays right into the Republican's hands and leaves us standing for nothing. Not surprising we are not getting re elected or enthused.

8. I don't agree that he jumped on the DLC bandwagon -- I
think, like most people who are elected President, he realized that it wasn't as cut and dried as he thought it was going to be, he wanted to govern for all the people, and felt he had to compromise to achieve ANYTHING. I think he was being pragmatic -- good approach, but it didn't work. We're not dealing with reasonable people and he's been more than tolerant and patient. But it didn't work, it's not GOING to work, and we need to try another approach. Why doesn't he see that? He's gained NOTHING by trying too hard to appease those assholes. So why not change the game plan, Mr. President?????
