3. Elizabeth Alexander has worked for him for a long time as press sec.
Wish her well...getting married to John Kerry's chief of staff. I love it, all in the "family" so to speak." :)

5. David Wade is fantastic

He worked for Biden when he was running with Obama - and then opted to return to Kerry's staff. Here is a long article on him - http://www.politico.com/politicopros/davidwade.html

When he left Kerry's staff, where he was known for his clever, witty retorts to various attacks - he had said that he left with Kerry's blessings, saying that Kerry had been like a father to him.

"I think Crash Davis put it best: I'm just happy to be here and hope I can help the ball club," Wade told us, referring to the lead character in "Bull Durham," his favorite movie. "Senator Kerry's been like a father to me, and I'm grateful he urged me to do this."

Kerry went to Sudan in October and was successful in getting a written agreement from the North to have the referendum. He is back there now to help with the difficult agreements. I bet these meetings had to be very important to make him miss this.
