GOP tax cuts for the rich = payback to corporate sponsors
It is no longer enough so talk about how much GOP tax cuts for the rich will raise the deficit. They need to be tied directly to
the corruption from whence they came. They and their sidekick deregulation are payback to the corporate sponsors of the GOP and part of the GOP corporate agenda that serves global corporate interests and not the interests of the US.

As for the $700 billion increase in the deficit, it would be helpful to know what that would mean going forward.
What will this ginormous deficit do in the coming years. I don't think enough people really understand it, so it isn't scary enough.
I am not really clear myself.

2. It sure is. At least when Dems spend money you can see tangible results.
Tax cuts never really did anything but raised the deficits.

3. It's important to notice who benefits and who paid whom.
Although I share your perception that the tax cuts for the well-heeled belong to the GOP, I fear that our side of the aisle may have some debts to pay down as well. Perhaps I shouldn't name names, as this is DU, but my own (R)epresentative(D) comes to mind as an example.
