Another Day, Another Phony Birth Certificate From The Birthers
This time, they're trying to pass off a forgery of a birth certificate they allege Madelyn Dunham filed in Hawaii after learning of Barack's birth in Kenya.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/24001567/Obama-BC-GMom

I found a link to a picture of what's posted on Scribd:

It's a very bad forgery.

Madelyn Dunham misspells her her own name in her signature.

That doesn't even go to the other obvious errors in this forgery.

Not to mention the fact that the text has been obviously added to an already existing document.

1. He'd still be a natural-born citizen because of his mother
So it's irrelevant.

3. Natural born Citizen or NOT Natural Born Citizen isn't the point of the Birthers
The point is to paint Obama as the "Other". Not one of "us".

10. Sure, I understand that. However
they're pretending that they've found a legal basis for claiming that Obama isn't qualified to be president, but this would not be a legal basis even if that birth were real.

13. I agree with number 2 below.
They can't *stand* the fact that *we* don't *see* that he's "not one of us!" "My God, man, can't you see that he's a n****r!?"

I just wish their heads would go ahead and explode, so long as if I'm nearby I'm wearing a slicker or something else that the brains could slide off of.

2. Good lord but those people are nutty. And it's a nuttiness driven by racism, too: they can't stand
the thought that a black man is in the Oval Office. They seethe with hatred because of it.

6. But it's not a "Birth Certificate." It's a "Certificate of Live Birth." The Birthers don't ACCEPT
a "Certificate of Live Birth" I thought. Only when it says what they WANT it to say, I guess. :eyes:

11. Why are these posts allowed outside the BC dungeon?
.....oh, that's right - we don't have one.

We only have dungeons for info that creates 'cognitive dissonance' in many that are forced to read them.

This fu-fu is laughable at best.

No cognitive dissonance in viewers Therefore it's all cool.

20. Because it (the implication that the POTUS was not born in the USA) is not being asserted as true.
If people were posting this kind of stuff as true, it would need a dungeon.

14. I like how it says place of birth is Honolulu
but the hospital is somewhere in Kenya. Sounds like a miracle!

What I find really surprising is why doesn't anyone ever check to see if Obama's mom even had a passport when he was born.

16. UPDATE !!111!!!
Obama was born in Israel!

President Barack Obama's decision to wish Jews around the world a happy Hanukkah in Hebrew has added more fuel to the movement of the so-called Birthers, who now claim that Mr. Obama was born in Israel.

Orly Taitz, a leading Birther spokesperson, told CNN today that she had in her possession a birth certificate for Mr. Obama that was issued in Tel Aviv.

"If you look at the birth certificate, you will see the name he was born with, Baruch Obama," she said.

Not that there's the faintest chance I would ever buy a letter of this load.
I was making better forgeries than this in grade school!
And I still say:

Dick Cheney is Martin Boorman

Until of course they prove - to my satisfaction - that he's not.

29. funny how the first 2 signatures (& probably also the 3rd) were all written by the same person
look at the "ne" in Payne and Blaine, the ending "n"s and "m"s dropping down and ending abruptly in "Madlyn" (sic), "Dunham," "Martin," and "Emerson"(?), the shape of the "a"s in the 2, both coming back up to the top at the same angle before plunging down on the downstroke, leaving a distinctive angle--I'm sure there's more--

anybody with more knowledge of graphology care to chime in? I could be wrong, I'm only an amateur, but those 2 signatures scream "same writer" to me.

34. I find it amusing that there's actually a space on this form for filling in
"Type of Occupation Outside Home During Pregnancy" for the mother.

I recently dug up a copy of my original birth certificate (i.e., a notarized copy of the original, as opposed to the notarized document the county health department gave me in 1999 to replace it, which contains most of the same basic info in a different format) and there is NO place on it to indicate the mother's occupation--before OR "during" pregnancy. Why? Because women in 1961 weren't EXPECTED to have occupations--especially during their pregnancy. It was still common practice for women back in those days to quit working when they got married, or at the very least quit upon becoming pregnant. It was still not illegal to fire an employee who became pregnant, claiming that one was doing so for the protection of both her and her unborn child.

I find it laughable that a supposed birth certificate from 1961 should have a space to fill in what type of occupation the mother was working in WHILE PREGNANT.

37. The street name is spelled wrong also
It's not "Kalanlanaole" Hwy, it's Kalanianaole Hwy. Geez I guess "Madlyn" didn't know her name or her address.

Also, the HRS 338-17.8 was an amendment added in 1982. Funny how they could foresee this in 1961. This is laughable.
