They should have done this before the election. God knows why they did not??

The bill will then go to the Senate where it is not expected to pass, because of Republican opposition. This should have been demonstrated before election, in my opinion, and show the voters whose side they are on.

But the Democrats did not want to hurt their "Blue Dogs" chances so they put it off. If the Senate votes against it, there will be pain. Let the people know ahead of time what is happening. The Repubs are blocking your tax cut. They are holding it hostage. They are hiding behind the skirts of their billionaire friends. If you are not happy with their vote, let them know. Democrats have done all they can do to protect your tax rates. It is now up to you to let Mitch McConnell and his friends know where you stand.

6. it's a disaster that we started talking like supply-siders
We're making no sense to people. If tax cuts create jobs, why did we oppose them under Bush? Were we anti-jobs?

7. The CBO stated in 2007 that letting all Bush tax cuts expire = Balanced budget by 2012
It's a no brainer

2. Even with this probably-futile effort, we will see a lot of Dems vote with their rethug pals.
What's the over-under on the list of traitors?
