Signing statements that contradict the plain sense of bills.

setting policy with executive orders.

his party pushing to the limits of the procedural rules (and often beyond) to pass the legislation they wanted.

telling the opposition they can vote with him or continue to be called traitors (more often AND instead of OR).

If Obama will not prosecute and condemn all this and in fact actively defends the war criminals of the Bush administration, why doesn't he use those powers on our behalf and to punish the sociopathic trust fund babies on Wall Street who have destroyed our manufacturing base, our home values, our private pensions, and is now going after our public pensions?

I already know they answer, but sometimes you have to ask the question anyway.

2. unrecc'd by the "ask no questions" crowd!
Was glad to be on the "pro-question" side of the equation, however...

3. I think you are equating 'legal' with 'wrong'-
some of what Bush did was technically "legal" but it was still wrong- and some of what he did I believe was actually illegal, but he hasn't been called on it yet.

5. it's a matter of degree: playing at the edge of the rules, beyond the edge, at the edge of the law,
then beyond the edge.

Obama hasn't even approached the edge of the rules on our behalf.

Though like Bush, he moved lickity split on the bailout for Wall Street.

6. Because he's not an asshole like Bush was?
YOu're advocating that he abuse the office the same way? Then we can't say anything if republicans do it.

8. Well Since The Rethugs Got Away With It
And with dems generally demoralized already, there is a very good chance that the demoralized dems will stay home in 2012 and the rethugs will be back in power again and they will SURELY use the same methods. We then will not be able to do anything about it!

7. Because there's a double standard, obviously.
Which is never, ever, ever going to change.
