On MSNBC -- Jansing and Co

Sophia Nelson - Jet Magazine columnist -- political and social columnist??? Really?

and

Galina Espinoza -- Latina Magazine -- leading monthly lifestyle, entertainment, beauty and fashion magazine for acculturated Hispanic women

They had both of them on with Ezra Klein and Richard Wolfe to discuss Obama's tax cut deal. I don't believe Nelson and Espinoza have the credentials for the topic covered.

It must be nice to be a white guy in America where their qualifications are assumed unless proved otherwise while brown folks must present a doctorate in from the Harvard School of public commentary before being given a lick of respect.

FYI - I'm not familiar with Latina magazine, but JET Magazine is one of the oldest and most influential publications in the country, whether or not YOU happen to read it. The fact that you would sneer at its political columnist in such a snide and dismissive way says infinitely more about you than it does about her.

and the reactions and responses to it beyond those that have fostered the prevailing mood of DU, then you're missing a large part of the dialogue to your disadvantage.
