A GOOD DOSE OF FIBER TO GET THINGS MOVING...
In my not so humble opinion, it seems that President Obama is the only one in our government capable of negotiating anything successfully with the Republicans as they haven’t done anything but obstruct. I haven’t agreed with some of the decisions Obama's made, but I sure as hell appreciate the efforts this President has made on my behalf because he’s just about the only elected official who has tried to really make a difference. Its about damn time the other elected Democrats made a half assed effort assist with change. We all knew Obama couldn’t effect change alone. If Obama’s deal with the republicans is what it takes to get the democrats “moving” then good on Obama. They needed a good dose of fiber. I would like to see a better deal, but frankly, I have more faith in Obama’s deal making abilities than I do in the ability of his constituents. His constiuents are the ones who need to step up. I am offended by their condemnations of this President. I challenge them to do better or remove their collective thumbs from their rears and suck on them instead.

2. They also need to get their fingers out of their ears and stop
blaming the President for EVERYTHING when they know DAMN well it's the republicans who are keeping the democrats from being able to do what they were elected to do. republicans want the president to fail NO MATTER WHAT. no matter the cost to the american people.

3. Agreed, k/r
Great analogy. Everything just dawdles along until Obama made a move, then - BOOM!

So good on the President.

And I'll bet all those Congresspeople in Washington that some of DU would just love to mount a Primary challenge know the real score damned well.

7. Handing your wallet to the mugger is not negotiating.

9. So say he had to do it, don't call it masterful negotiation
That's just absurd praise and revisionism.
