Let see if the rethugs will repeal this in the health care reform
For all these idiots who say they don't like the health care reform I bet they didn't know this was in the bill http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/12/health-care-reform-mental-health_n_807744.html

1. Methinks that is one of the reasons Boner took it off
the calendar, not just to have a period of mourning. I believe we won't see it back on the calendar either.

3. I agree that that is one of the reasons Boehner took it off. I think they are trying to figure out
a way to get it back on the calendar. But having a tough time figuring it out. Almost every piece of their rhetoric about the health care bill was Demonizing and Violent.

7. Their #1 Luntz phrase was "Job KILLING Obamacare"
They can't use that lie any more and they know it.

The GOP leadership are idiots.

4. Sadly, the healthcare industry Republicans serve first, demands healthcare be repealed.
And, even though it will go nowhere, it will be repealed.

9. They've already invested in implementing the provisions
that were scheduled to go live in 2010. A reversal will cost them again. Some are against the repeal.

8. I was half listening to Thom Hartmann today and I think he made mention
of a Republican Rep. having a town meeting somewhere and a senior citizen got up to complain about the effort to repeal healthcare because seniors needed the benefits in it. Apparently the senior with the question got a round of applause. Their efforts could amount to a huge backfire.

10. Well, Tuesday will be the day we find out if the GOP supports mental health treatment,
something that is painfully in need of addressing, especially in the aftermath of the Arizona shooting, or if they simply don't care. It will be very clear.

11. Funny
Leaonard Lance (NJ - 7th) sent an email to all responded to his latest poll . ..

1,245 believed creating jobs and fixing our economy should be priority number 1.

914 Suppor redicing federal spending and balancing the budget.

665 focused on 6Repeal of President Obama's Health Care Law'.

148 - Borders and Immigration

My critter then goes on to backtrack against the inane whiny crybaby stuff about 'Obamacare' by telling his constituents . . . Jobs are number one based on the over 2900 responses.

My point in sharing this? It's just one Republican that's probably feeling kind of sick about Repealing the Patient Rights Act. :-)

P.S. He's already received 13 communications from me this year. I intend to be a pest every single day and now I have a great phrase to irritate him with and poke at him and pick on him about Repealing the Patient's Rights Act!

big - d - I will be sure to include your link info in tomorrow's Daily LL Irritation.
