With caveats, but when a far-right shill like Beck is complimenting a speech you know it's a good one.

Oh, I saw it on Twitter - I don't read Glenn Beck's site. *shudder*

2. Maybe roger ailes has an iron fist around his balls for awhile?
Edited on Thu Jan-13-11 03:44 PM by calimary
ailes: "Hey guys! Tone it down! Stop attracting so much unwanted attention to us, okay? Give it a rest. Time to go under the radar for awhile til the heat's off. Cross your fingers behind your back or something if you have to. Now's NOT the time to make us look bad."

Strictly cosmetic, and entirely temporary. When they think the coast is clear and sufficient numbers of stupidified Americans (who THEY have directly helped to dumb down) have forgotten all about it, they'll be back at it. Guaranteed. This is only a brief interruption - probably while they reload. :eyes:

4. Sorry, I should have been clearer.
Specifically, when he feels he has to praise a speech by a supposed commie-Mulsim-whatever like the President.

5. You know his boss, Ailes, gave him the word. Be nice or else!

Two remarkable admissions from FOX News's brilliant boss Roger Ailes yesterday in the wake of the Arizona shootings.

First, Ailes admitted that, in response to the shootings, he told his staff to "shut up, tone it down."

7. I suppose that's a good thing, but reading the comments below that article is a reminder
of the idiocy that we're up against.

For example, if you want to sample the type of ignorance and stupidity that prevails on the Right, check out the comment of 2NOT_MY_PREZ2 below the article. People like that are seriously demented.

8. Its the talking point.....
All Right Wing talkers, national and local, were doing the same today.

It is really upsetting the listeners.

9. You don't have to run faster than the bear,
You just have to run faster than Palin. He's just trying to make himself look almost sane in comparison.

10. DON'T FALL FOR FLATTERY !
YOUR QUESTION should always be WHY are they ?
Are you so easy for the trap of flattery?
For yourself to be proud of Obama is one thing- but
NEVER confuse THEM with you!

Critical thinking is the order of the day.
Again Republican right wing conservative corporatists
are playing chess to your own game of checkers.
They are jumps ahead and trying to draw you off
a game that is afoot.
(Apparently one of the easiest methods is to flatter the President.)
We are on the verge of exposing them to a public
that now has its sights on this attempted assasination
of a politician.
Follow the trail of implanted hate speech to its logical
conclusion and you will expose them.
That is ALL that they care about....
NOT OFFERING UNUSUAL PRAISE TO A PRESIDENT THEY
HAVE NOT CHANGED THEIR OPINION ABOUT.
