and not even knowing for sure the person he THOUGHT was on the other end of the phone was for REAL? I know if I would have done such a thing, I'd feel really dumb!

13. Mika wasn't there! She abruptly took off after the embarrassing "piece of ass" comment surfaced.

Joe said on Thursday that she was taking "a well deserved break to be with her family."

She was either under heavy sedation or furiously working with her handlers on her "image."

Joe tried to make light of it, but it was obvious that all the Morning Joe folks were pretty quiet and subdued Thursday morning. Norah was filling in as was Savannah.

This morning Lawrence O'Donnell upset the applecart by bringing up the prank call and the table went stone faced silent. It was a beautiful moment..
