40. I don't even get the thrust of the poll
Is it Republicans we'd like to see get the GOP nomination? Or who we think will get it? What?

15. I actually think Palin would be easier to beat... higher negatives.
Paul is crazy.. but so is Palin. I think Paul is actually somewhat intelligent.. he's just nuts. Palin is both dumb and nuts. I'd rather see her on the ballot.. but ultimitely I think Romney will get the nom this time.

9. 2012
I think Huchabee and Palin don't run.I am seeing more and more they would rather make money, and throw knives at Obama and Democrats
than actully run.

Romney Is frontrunner but he has trouble with Iowa and southern primarys. His flipflopper ways If he survives primarys will come
back to haunt him In General election.PPP poll suggests Missouri could come Into play with Romney as nominee,Romney could make Nevada a deadheat because of Mormons and NH could become close.

Gingrich Is helped without Palin or Huchabee In race.He would be general election disaster.Without Palin or Huchabee I think
barbaur becomes a major candiate.Santorum and Pawlenty are both losers.

I don't think Danials will run.If he would millions will be spent on ads reminding the public he was a former Bush Budget Chief by Democrats. If Huntsman Is stupid enough to run he will get killed In the primarys.

Ron Paul and Michaelle Bachman might run but neither will get very far.

Donald Trump If he ran would be the 2012 Fred Thompson.A celebrity who goes nowhere.

If Saint Rudy runs he would become a joke.If he couldn't get anywhere In 2008 on 9/11 what makes you think 2012 would be different.

Romney Is helped If Gingrich,Barbaur, and Santurm split the tea bager/Relgious right vote.

16. Pawlenty wins the republican primary. He's the outside choice with the most inside connections ....
party establishment likes him AND the tea party likes him.

Every other candidate has one side within the party that loves them, but other side hates them.

Tea partiers love Palin, but the establishment hates her.

The establishment loves Mitt, but the tea party hates him.

Huckabee could have an outside chance, but he has a lot working against him.

Newt has enough enemies in both camps to keep him out of serious contention.

35. That would be scary
The dems and us leftists need to be worried if Ron runs in this election. I think he's a real dark horse for 2012. Don't believe so, look at sites like City-Data and tons of forums that aren't leftist that loves this guy so much. I will be voting for either a Green Party or I will write in Bernie Sanders.

43. It will be either Thune or (thank you GOD) Barbour
Romney, a Mormon, is NOT going to get the nomination.

Thune looks the part...that is about it. He can look the part just like the cardboard cutout that is Romney.

Barbour is money. He was the RNC chair when the money was raining in and not overspent. He has the ropes in his hands and other than him supporting Newt (smarter move for Haley as there is no way he wins) he controls the action from here on out. This is still the Party of South.

The idea of any of these people becoming president makes me feel like I'm going to throw up. I'm actually feel kind of sorry for the republicans. My father is a smart, decent moderate republican. He thinks these people are crazy. I grew up having intelligent political discussions with him. One of these days, he's just going to give and become a democrat.
