5. It is possible that this could be used politically
to smooth over a serious withdrawal. Of course, in reality getting Osama has almost nothing to do with our military presence in Afghanistan, but the American public doesn't know that.

The Prez said that Bin Laden was responsible for 9-11.
So, does that mean we no longer need to be in Iraq? Which had nothing to do with 9-11?

17. Lost my cell phone last week.
That sucked.

Also, I'd be surprised if we are out of there in 18 months.

We killed Saddam in Dec of 2006 and we still have troops in Iraq. How is the death of Osama gonna speed things up? We have to restore a functional gov't first.

19. I'd love for us to do an about-face and get out.
My nephew just finished a year tour there. And I don't want him or anyone else to go back.

But we are so deep into this clusterfuck, I just don't see it happening in the near future.
