13. "The Godfather" (Godfather Part 1)
Tom Hagen advising Vito Corleone on the pros and cons of Solozzo's proposal to invest in the narcotics business.

I don't personally think Part 2 is boring, but it is very complicated, plot-wise, and some things don't even make much sense or are not completely explained. Also, all of Part 1 is contained within the scope of the novel, and so has a great deal more explication behind it.
