Half of Republicans polled still don't believe Obama was born in USA
More than a week after the White House unearthed President Obama's original, long-form, Hawaii birth certificate, only 48% of Republicans polled said they believe he was born in the United States.

In a poll conducted by Public Policy Polling from May 5-8 of 610 Americans who usually support Republicans in primaries, 34% said they did not believe Obama was born in the U.S. while 18% said they still aren't sure.

1. Fox has not run any propaganda to correct their previous position
Until it is said on FOX, it just can't be so.

2. I wonder how many of them "actually" believe that

10. I don't think they really believe it ....
...I think that for most of them, the whole issue has never been more than an excuse, a cover, for overt racism. There was ample evidence of the President's birthplace before the release of the long form certificate; if that evidence didn't convince them, then no new or additional evidence will. This is a willful refusal to recognize valid evidence that runs contrary to a prior prejudice. Somewhere, in their heart of hearts, they know full well they have chosen to ignore the evidence.

8. That 50% will cause the candidates to "go birther" or they will not have a chance in
the primaries. If a "debate" brings up the question (but if Fox is the sponsor it won't be) they will have to claim that he was not born in U.S. or they will be toast.
