Donald Trumps Not Running....NBC Announces New FALL Line Up

NEW YORK – NBC is betting on the Playboy club, Chelsea Handler and a raft of romantic comedies among the dozen new series it has ordered in its latest attempt to come back from a long slump that has made it television's fourth-place broadcast network.

NBC's midseason schedule includes a two-hour edition of "Celebrity Apprentice" on Sunday nights. Asked if that meant NBC had a commitment from host Donald Trump that he wouldn't run for president, Greenblatt said, "We're putting a pin in that for the next 24 hours or so. Things will become clearer soon."

But he said NBC was prepared to go forward with a new host for "Celebrity Apprentice" if Trump decides to run. "I hope we don't have to go there," he said.

By devoting its Sunday night prime-time schedule in the fall to pro football, NBC appeared confident that the NFL's labor problems would be solved. Greenblatt said NBC is developing some high-profile reality competitions as substitutes for football but said that "we're feeling pretty optimistic that football will be there."

TRUMP cant have cake and eat it to...and HE IS to much of an EGOMANIAC To Share the show with someone else...He is not running FOLKS

He did it for the publicity. It is the same with Newt except Newt's technique is to perpetually run for President so he can fleece contributors and later charge high speaking fees. Both are con men.

He knew that, the network knew that and really everyone else knew that.

He was making noise and distraction which the media graciously helped him to do. It was for them about selling ad time, not about news or journalism.

He is indeed a carnival barker as he has been described.

NBC pointed out today (according to Entertainment Weekly) that they, not Trump, own the Apprentice, and that if Trump ran for president, that they would continue the show with some other megalomaniac. So, it's listing on the fall schedule means nothing.

Who would've thought the show would carry on w/o the integral actor? But apparently it will.

Didn't like him on That 70s Show. (Didn't like the show either.) Still don't.

I'm not a fan of sitcoms in general but do watch 2 1/2 because it's the only one worth watching since Seinfeld went off the air. Sometimes when your brain is fried from all the crap...you need mindless comedy as a relief. I think it's clever and I like the whole cast. Always liked Jon Cryer and the kid is cute. I never thought it was all about Charlie. I think he could be replaced by almost anyone.

I would love for the show to be a huge success just to knock Charlie off his self-made pedestal! I don't respect him as a person. If he wants to do drugs and have prostitutes...fine...no judgement. But at least have the good sense not to have children. Destroy yourself if you want, but don't drag innocent children down with you.

He is the definition of a loser!

The term "egomaniac" doesn't come close to describing him. In fact, even to suggest that he has a severe case of narcissistic personality disorder is a masterpiece of understatement. Were self-absorbed, bombastic arrogance a geographical occurrence, he would be equal to ten Grand Canyons.

AND he drops out of the race.
