Newt on Obama's Israeli speech : "Disastrous"

"Newt Gingrich at his first two Iowa campaign stops today has called President Obama’s speech Thursday and stand on Israeli border solution “disastrous.”

“No president prior to this has suggested the 1967 borders ought to be the negotiating position,” Gingrich said. “Because in essence what he has done is he has given the Palestinians a huge break without them having to give up anything.”

“The thing I’m most upset about is the President’s speech on Israel,” Council Bluffs resident Pat Brane said today after Gingrich’s appearance in her town. “The Bible says God blessed Israel and we will be held accountable if we divide there land.”"

Honestly, Newt - after the week you've had, you've lost the right to even refer to the Hindenburg as a disaster!

And if the Universe, the solar system, the planets, the earth, the land and the seas, and all the living forms on the planet were created by God... How is it that one set of people are blessed by God more than his other people creations? And if God created the land, how is it "their" land? Just because some Dude (human) wrote that they were more special and deserving and that they are more blessed.... so they deserve this God Blessed piece of land... And by that token, how is it that Israel is so God Blessed.. I thought that America was the most God Blessed land there was.. Should we be moving Jewish people to Texas... our most God Blessed State in the most God Blessed land... USA, USA, USA.. #1, #1, #1...

Must be confusing to live one's life by the confines of a book hobbled together by different men authors many years ago.. some before the Christ child... to tell one how to live in the modern day where technology and information has made the strict adherence to the books within the bible or any script in any religion seem foolish....

12. If God was giving out "promised land" wouldn't it be in Hawaii or Tahiti?
The golden rule of real estate is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION ... and so why would God put his chosen people in a neighborhood where everyone hates them.

If I was God, I'd put my chosen people in a nice tropical location. And then shield them from bad weather events.

14. So, in other words...
...it was a damn good speech. Funny, but I never heard the President say anything about dividing Israel. And, the Palestinians already have been forced to give up EVERYTHING. Somebody needs to send that shitbag to live in one of their refugee for a few months. How many decades have Palestinians been forced to live in those dumps?
