1. Romney camp explains claim that he deserves credit for auto industry rebound
Greg Sargent: Romney camp explains claim that he deserves credit for auto industry rebound

Dems and liberal bloggers are having a grand old time mocking Mitt Romney in the wake of his spokesman’s claim today that Romney deserves credit for the rebound of the auto industry — even though he opposed Obama’s auto bailout.

The fun started when a Romney spokesman told the New York Times that “Romney had the idea first,” claiming he advocated for “a course of action that eventually the Obama administration adopted.”Dems immediately countered by pointing out that in 2008, Romney penned an Op ed pillorying the auto bailout with the title: “Let Detroit go bankrupt.”

<...>

2. He's responsible for the auto bailout
in the same convoluted illogical way that George W. Bush and torture were partially responsible for OBL's death- in short, not at all. Anyway, from what I read on Daily KOS, Romney expected the auto industry to restructure via bankruptcy, not give them a government loan, so he wouldn't even have done what President Obama did, so how can he even claim "credit" for something that Obama did that he apparently didn't like.

:wtf: indeed

4. K&R
Republicant - let them starve to death.

Oh no, they haven't starved. Try tell them it was because of actions the Republicant would have, could have but never would have taken.

5. Problem is
half the people belive ANYTHING they hear on Faux so he will get credit from roughly half the population, reality be damned. Too bad the Dems don't have that soundboard but I doubt they'd use it if they did.

9. Two things
First there is now way that "half" the population listen to fox news! They would be lucky to get 20%, damned lucky!

Second they do have the video and they are playing it!
