If we as Democrats and activists cannot remember...Infrastructure investments
The Bullet trains and all the jobs that they would and will bring.. and Republican governors are turning down the money so those jobs will not happen

http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/02/08/biden.rail.network/index.html

Washington (CNN) -- The Obama administration is proposing to spend $53 billion over the next six years to help promote the construction of a national high-speed, intercity passenger rail network, Vice President Joe Biden announced Tuesday.

The proposal represents a significant expansion of the $10.5 billion already spent on high-speed rail expansion since Obama entered office, including $8 billion in the 2009 economic stimulus package.

1. "Selectively remember" ... or "selectively forget" maybe

2. The republicans are invested in cutting goverment jobs.. as the private sector
climbs out and grows which it has..the one thing the republicans can do now that they have all this power from 2010 is to cut and gut gov jobs and refuse any gov stimulus because it affects the job numbers and they can get back in power.

That and redistricting to get their people in.

It just makes me so sad that our own will not stand and fight when the right does this. Instead we turn on our own.

4. There were signs all over our freeways
last summer that construction was due to Federal money. I don't remember the exact wording but you knew by reading it, that it was the money Obama put in for jobs.

5. It's amazing isn't it? I get so tired of the "What is Obama doing about _____"?
And you're right, it's not even a matter of short memories, it's "selective", and it's cynical. Who knew self proclaimed "liberals" wanted a monarch to replace our "democracy"? The other two branches of government get a pass, and the WH is expected to do all the lifting?

There's been a long running campaign here to undermine this administration, and to discourage support. We even have folks boldly advocating third parties now. We know what the alternatives are, so I'm left to ask...What is the point of it all?

6. Good post...Ohio lost 16,000 jobs when Kasich nixed the train...
This is economic sabotage, plain & simple: keep Ohio, the ultimate swing state, at 9% unemployment then run against Obama in 2012 on a jobs, jobs, jobs platform.

Will Ohio (and Wisconsin and Florida) voters suffer from amnesia again in 2012?
