Caller on Bill Press said it best; at least for me.
Paraphrasing...

'He wouldn't fight with Congress on a Public Option for Healthcare.
He wouldn't fight with Congress on extending the tax cuts for the rich.
But, he will fight with Congress on war.'

9. There's a reason TR called the Presidency a bully pulpit.
When it's used properly, it can go a long way toward swaying public opinion & Congressional support on important issues. Obama didn't bother.

11. "Misinformed"? What part of his comments do you disagree with?
Edited on Mon Jun-20-11 08:15 AM by Dawgs
Did President Obama fight for the public option. Is so, how?

Did President Obama fight for to end tax cuts for the rich. Is so, how?

Did President Obama not fight for the war in Libya. Is so, how?

12. He's not fighting with Congress. Congress is trying to pick a fight with
him and he's not engaging them.

our President is a war monger. This is not a judgment call on my part. It's just facing facts. This man put it in just the kind of words that hit you like a ton of bricks.

Still I think Obama has done many things to get the country going in the right direction, even if only slowly.
