4. That's how rumors start...
And when you hear the lie first, you will probably never remember the truth once you hear that... it's the nature of humans and information to remember the first thing they heard. That's why so many dumbass RWers still insist there were WMD in Iraq, even after Bush said there weren't.

bi-partisanship which he'll need if for any reason Congress slipped back toward Republicans. Although I think I would of liked to see her as Press secretary again over Broadcasting Gov. not sure about that at all. It would of been fascinating to see her give honest responses in press conference than the propaganda we previously saw. I don't feel Bob gates has worked out that bad at the very least he's not Donald Rumsfeld. Sure gut reaction is to reject them but long term it is smart politics and impresses the moderates.

11. Because apparently the convention is that
1.) The BBG is bipartisan and
2.) The minority leader (in this case, McConnell) gets to name his party's pick. There was a discussion of this in an earlier thread in GD.

12. By law, he has to appoint a Republican. It's a bipartisan body.
And, the usual practice is that the President consults with the other party in selecting its representatives and honors their choices, which seems reasonable given the explicitly bipartisan nature of the BBG.

14. A Bipartisan board where each party selects their own candidates and
asks the President to nominate them.

And your problem with that is what?
