FUCK THAT! ;)

I'm kicking this OP because it's the truth instead of a steaming pile of demonizing bullshit.

22. That and...
...it sucks when you scream "bully pulpit!!" and ProSense (or you, or some other obvious "Obamabot") takes the initiative and provides facts and links to encourage other Democrats. We just can't have positive information being spewed about on DU without regard to the feelings of others.

ProSense should be ashamed...or sumthin.'

5. Thank you again! As a HUD employee, it hurt me to no end to see
DUers attack Obama on the homelessness issue when we've been working tirelessly on it. The GOP House reduced our budget!!

Also happy about our Sustainable Communities effort with DOT and EPA.

perhaps the WH could run information bulletins daily and the networks would have to broadcast them.

I'm glad I voted for such a liberal President.

23. FACT: "How Obama is shoring up federal authority over Medicaid"
Edited on Wed Jun-29-11 02:14 PM by ClarkUSA

So much for those duplicitous shriveled souls who keep insisting that President Obama wants to cut Medicare. They are clearly mistaking President Obama for Bill Clinton, who wanted to cut Social Security when he was President and wants to cut Medicare now.

28. In particular, shoring up federal authority over Medicaid
is an excellent move. Intentions are suspect when it comes to the Republicans and squishy Democrats in Congress. It appears President O is heading them off at the pass.

30. The problem w/those initiatives, politically, is that they don't affect the middle class much.
Most middle class Americans aren't homeless, belong to a union or do work that lends itself to unionizing, or will ever have to use Medicaid. Not sure what the "sustainable communities" is, but I haven't seen any presence of such a program here in Dallas, TX.

Those things are good. But they don't directly affect the masses that vote.
