The Dow Jones under President Obama and the Democrats

The Republicans use this as a gauge of the economy. I tend to think it's bullshit; it's mostly how much rich people want to pay for used stock... which they hold for an average of 22 seconds before selling. But, nonetheless, they worship the damn thing.

So now they're going to kill the thing they love because they hate seeing federal spending grow in close proportion to inflation and population expansion.

Yeah, that's a reason, isn't it?

Privatizing Social Security will help the powers that be enormously; it transfers money to be handled by those that have already (mis)handled trillions.
