What he just did was not in his job description
He is Speaker of the House, he shouldn't be giving pep rally speeches to a minority in his own party (the Tea Baggers)

Edited on Mon Jul-25-11 09:50 PM by blueclown
Hell, even wingnuts like James Inhofe can - and will - compromise on their beliefs. They know the Washington game. They understand that Washington doesn't exist in a vacuum, and they understand how the balance of powers works.

I don't get that same vibe from Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan, or many of the new Tea Party members - it is their way or the highway. And that is bad news for the country.

Then get the hell outta the way, then. We all know you and your sorryass Republican compatriots are trying to fuck things up in order to hurt Obama (and one of your strategists was nice enough to say so), so get out of the way here if you actually care about your country.

26. Umm Boehner have you been asleep during your 20 years in congress?
When congress is controlled by a different party than the White House, Speaker of the House is the chief negotiator on behalf of his party in any negotiations with the President. What the fuck did you think you were signing up for?

32. Translation: "I would come to a compromise with the President, but.,,"
..."my party has been overrun by fucked up sociopaths and I'm scared of them so have to do exactly want they say. I have no real power, I'm the 'speaker in name only' and I've had enough. If only I wasn't too yellow / orange to stand up to those elements in case they make me cry..."

Weak, weak, weak. The Republicans have made their bed and its their fault that their party has been hijacked by fucking weirdoes. Stood by, did nothing and now they are starting to panic. Might be too late for America though.

And was seen sucking his thumb coming down the steps.
