Question about dragging the country to the right and the Republicans...

We all know that the Republicans are trying to drag the country to the right. How far to the right is the issue.

Bear with me for a minute. How close can the Republicans get to true "neo-Nazism" before the rest of the electorate is repulsed and the strategy backfires ? My current half-baked idea is that if they can push it to the closest point to neo-Nazism, then they will be able to shove the "center" of the spectrum as close as possible to their desired goal.

1. If you want to see something truly frightening

The History channel showed a 4 hour show yesterday "The Rise & Fall of Nazi Germany".

Its an excellent documentary that is comprised entirely of home movies, news reels, and the words of people living through that time.

There are far too many parallels in the first two hours to events happening here in the last 10 years, its rather disturbing.
