1. That's not a news site, it's a wingnut blog pretending to be a news organization.
This is portrayed as a rally only in Patch Media blogs. Patch Media has about 500 local blogs throughout the US. It looks like they post pretty much the same rightwing bullshit, with local stories thrown in at each individual site.

4. No matter how strong or weak the Tea Party is, the Left is not

seen as half as strong.

Remember the Tea Party rallies early on. The Anger was PALPABLE.
Their power lies in the fact that people woould not want to
cross them. In other words, they are not afraid to take matters
into their own hands. They could go militant and create instability
at any moment.

We can put Millions out marching peacefully. It is not news unless
A March is MORE thanis a One Day affair.
The reaction of the Public is. So the Left does not like this.

Also the Media knows our Party is run by the Centrists, DLC
Conservadems. What Liberals want is irrelevant.

The GOP want Power so they unite in the end no matter what.

5. The Teabaggers were formed to oppose Pres. Obama......
in every way, shape and form.

In receiving wall to wall Television coverage, they became stronger and stronger,
and although they were unable to stop Health Care reform,
they were able to run candidates in 2010, who ended up taking over the house,
and therefore, took over budgetary policies of the entire country.

But make no mistake that over the top consistent and long lasting media coverage
was how the Tea Party became a powerful force in the 2010 election, which in turn
enabled them to challenge their own party; the GOP.

If liberals would replicate this phenomenon and gain the kind of media coverage
the Tea party was afforded, by protesting not their own party (the Tea Party did not
protest Republicans), but the opposing party, including the Teabaggers, then they
could become comparable as a force.

The problem lies not in success in activism, but rather in having the media be on one's side.

Can Liberals do this? Personally, I don't think so, because the powers that-be who represent
media decisions are support Republican policies to begin with......so the coverage that
the Teabaggers got was unprecedended, considering their numbers, and cannot be replicated by
liberals, unless the movement is massive and aimed at the right villains, and I don't believe that
the greater villain in this country, at this time, are the Democrats.

6. Indeed. And, lest we forget,
the Tea Party was actively engineered and promoted by Murdoch and his minions. They pushed it on their "news", and their talking heads travelled to host events for the Tea Party. In many respects, too many, the Tea Party was/is programming produced and directed by Murdoch and other media owners. We forget that at our very great peril.

7. You need to finally understand that CORPORATIONS own the media.
They like the GOP in control.

Remember that.
