Okay I give up.. Shared sacrifice.. I will promote it.. Sign me up

Wage earners pay 6.2 % of the money they earn in social security taxes on the first 118,000 dollars somewhere in that arena.. give or take a few thousand.

So sharing that sacrifice.. we should lift the caps on those SS taxes for everyone till they reach the top 2% of income earners and then they should not have to pay any more social security taxes.

The top 2% will then lose their bush tax cuts bennies though.. shared sacrifice and all.

We do this for the benefit and welfare of the country for the short term and long term.

I will sign on to that!

this would never would have happened. We would still have AAA rating.

If that limit were raised tomorrow, and a small increase in taxes for the rich, the AAA rating would be back tomorrow.
...I belive that..
