1. You know ... I'd like nothing better than to tear into Tweety...
whose schizophrenic behavior--especially towards the administration is really annoying. But, frankly I am too frustrated and worried to do so... Still trying to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt, but.... It is going to take an awful lot to rally the troops before 2012, I fear, though I will find a way to muster my own energies. sigh....

4. There are at least 6 jobs bills that the Republicans are deliberately holding up in the House
The House Speaker controls what legislative proposals get on the docket.

Oh, wait. Congress has gone on vacation through Labor Day!

But, the ODSers are idiots! All they do is knee-jerk here, knee-jerk there!

Tweety simply licks his finger and holds it up to the sky!

Rendell can't get over the 2008 primaries. He's been riding Obama's jockstrap ever since.

7. Your feeling would be justified. Chis is smart. He should know about those jobs bills
being held up in the House. Why? Because he just had a great interview with Jim Moran last week, and Jim told him that they can't even get their jobs proposals into committee. Why can't they get these proposals in committee? Guess who controls the committee dockets? Yes, the Speaker of the House.

But, that doesn't go over well here at DU or in the Corporate Media, liberal and conservative alike. The response is to immediately blame the president, even when told that the House has tried to get jobs legislation through its chambers since before the Republicans took over. Either those bills get filibustered in the Senate or not even placed on the legislative agenda now that the House is controlled by Republicans.

Ah, but alas, you won't here those facts repeated here on DU, nor will you hear them in Corporate Media. These are 100% facts. Not made up. Not some "Obamabot" theory. They are facts!

I don't know what else needs to be said.

6. It's congress's job to legislate. The House is paralyzed and it's not Obama's fault.
Edited on Mon Aug-08-11 04:53 PM by Avalux
With terrorist tea partiers sabotaging everything, how is Obama supposed to create jobs? Ridiculous to blame him.

Since 2008, republicans have said over and over again they'll do whatever it takes to make sure he fails and is not re-elected; they're doing it at the expense of our country.

Tweety should be talking about that.

8. Then I Won't Watch
and he won't get credit for being watched by at least one household.

I think you have to watch the show within 24 hours of recording for it to be counted.
