Just watching Lawrence's review of the Debate... These POS can't even call
the President: President Obama. Kept saying Barack Obama. I can understand not saying it everytime, but not once will they call this man President. They are so treasonous of America and it's values. It doesn't matter if you like what or who is in the office, you respect the name as the leader. Bill Clinton is called prefaced with Preaident or Former President Clinton more often than our current POTUS does.

I honestly don't think I've heard one of these pundits, etc even use the term Mr. President. Pets start insisting that these pundits and candidates start using the correct terms much more often. Mr. President, President Obama, or President Barack Obama... Maybe even a few Commander In Chief's when talking about military.

Let's start reminding people, even ourselves, that Barack Obama is our actual, current Preaident. We all know the currrent crop of dimwits would love to put "our boy" inhis place. Shoot some would love to grab rope and hang him from a tree branch in front of Penn Ave, and then stick his and the rest of the family's heads on poles nearby.

Lets all try getting our mouths around using "President" in referencing our President. All those that are running go out on the stump and have themselves introduced as "President YadaYada Mealymouth Pukester.

At the end if the day, I may not agree with a lot of what our President has done in giving away a strong liberal, progressive position and then working towards a compromise that many can find as favorable for the most part, however, I do respect that he is my President. Maybe because I'm of a younger generation and was raised in a more liberal environment in Vermont, but for me his racial background doesn't factor into my displeasure with his governing being at odds with the Democratic Party principals and being a party that is supposed to represent the everyday, common working person who will probably never fly on a private jet or drink $300.00 bottles of wine. We tend to, as a party, take the title out away from people because a job doesn't make a person. However, in our casual Obama shortening, we allow the Republucans and news media to also use "Obama" and "Barack Obama" without the Presidential title. It is their way to invalidate his position, the office, and to dog whistle to the racist ass monkeys within the wing nut, religious fruitcakes that view our President as illigitamit. And it's the reason they McConnell says their biggest goal is to make the Preaident a 1 term president; the country be damned. We are at civil war levels of heat and fear. The pukes will continue to make non-issues out of debts while they know that increasing tax rates and job spending programs is the way to help the county rise oitnf the rubble. Shoot, even President Bush gave out 2 different direct checks in a lump sum for families. If the President were to suggest just paying out a tax stimulus to families of $1000, they would say no. Perhaps the democrats could suggest an"tax subsidy/ break for families. $2,000.00 per individual, $4,000.00 per married couple and $1000.00 supplement per child extra within the family for all families making less than $100,000.00 or $60,000.00 for individuals. The money would come as school begins and before the Xmas season is upon us. How could the pukes object to a tax break for working families? It's about framing the argument around the issues. debate after debate could be framed in a manner that works around the republicans talking points.

Anyway, we have to be smart about the way we talk about the President around other people. He's OUR President as a country. In the mean time, we need to work on sending him ccongressional support that will enact liberal progressive policies and agendas. It's the only way we have a prayer in helping the most of the entire country and not the select wealthy. Please in your everyday conversing, call the President, President

2. Never like this at all
Everyone would say President Bush - they never would just call him Bush like these dimwits do. They insist on degrading our President in a way I have never seen before.

5. I'm not sure Thise on Lawrence's show r the type to do that.
However, on our own "side" they can't even manage President. If we don't call him President, why would they. Republicans are very good with spin and projection. We need to use some of the same tool box.

7. As the race heats up and the Republican field narrows, they will start up
with their race-baiting again. We all remember when Sarah started running around getting crowds really heated with her "other" shit. We had crazy people afraid of President Obama. We had crowds that were ready to attack. I'm not sure the candidates will slip up that badly, but I'm sure that their supporters are going to enough that it will be caught on tape.

9. Yep! I do too.
Oddly enough, I find that my hubby has more patience for the bs. He is one of those low info voters. He has this understanding of taking time to right the ship... And that congress makes the laws, so he doesn't always get the best hand dealt. So maybe there's still hope for him to find some fire. And perhaps we at the political base can find some liberal, progress congress members that move this country forward and aren't so bought.

12. A fundamental prerequisite for a functioning democracy is the concept of a "loyal opposition".
America lacks a loyal opposition.
