Romney to quadruple size of $12 million California home.
Think Progress: ROMNEY TO QUADRUPLE SIZE OF $12 MILLION CALIFORNIA HOME

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R), who in June told voters that he was “also unemployed,” has applied for a permit to bulldoze his 3,000-square-foot, $12 million home in La Jolla, California, and replace it with one nearly four times its size...

UPDATE Romney tells Politico that the existing $12M mansion is “inadequate for their needs.”

1. 'inadequate for their needs'
Mitt just doesn't 'get it,' does he? Looks like there's not one brave enough in his entourage to inform him that his every utterance further increases the distance between himself and ordinary Americans.

5. La Jolla is a great place to live
If you can afford it. Pretty much the only people that own homes there are wealthy people. I actually stayed there for 3 months when I was taking summer school at UCSD. Romney probably fits in quite well there.

9. What's the grandchild count?

Seems like his only or best explanation for such an oddly timed move.
