Poll question: If Obama treated bin Laden the way he has Wall Street...
He would have let him pick the Secretary of Defense, Homeland Security, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the CIA director, and then given him criminal immunity in exchange for $500 to each family of a 9/11 victim.

Those assholes on Wall Street did far more damage to our country and the world than than a handful of religious nuts could ever hope to do and deserve everything that Dick Cheney ever did to torture Muslims, hippies, and Dan Rather.

Would you have more confidence in Obama if he went after Lloyd Blankfein and other Wall Street economic terrorists with the same methods and zeal he did bin Laden?

7. So terrorist with economic motives should be treated differently than religious or political ones?
Or is it just because the suits are American citizens?

5. MORE republican think to ... bash Obama ...
It never ends ...

If Rush went on the radio and spewed about the need to have navy seals take care of union heads, people here would be totally up in arms.

Seriously, do people even have the first clue that they have jumped the shark?

23. I don't defend it ...
I don't like how cozy he is with Wall Street at all.

AND, I didn't like it BEFORE he was elected - I saw it.

I have posted it numerous times here.

or do you think we should ignore that?

12. Doesn't bipartisanship mean we are SUPPOSED to think like them?
Or are we only supposed to agree with their policies and methods when it benefits the rich?

25. WTF are you talking about?
This makes no sense ...

Again, as happens so freakin often in DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND, republican thinking attached to bashing Obama - bottom line.

13. no it wouldn't be like that--which union head used deliberate fraud to tank our economy?
I'm talking about devastating, documented crimes. The right would propose this for those they merely disagree with.

24. Again - REPUBLICAN thinking ...
There always is a good reason why YOUR position of extremism is acceptable ...

I think Wall Streeters are generally scumbags, but again, the OP advocated for Navy Seals to take them out.

This is talking like a republican while standing next to them, BASHING the president.

Sorry.

26. which methods and policies of the GOP are acceptable to you "centrists"?
Centrists seem to like a lot of them unless they are tweaked to use against corporations, banks, and Wall Street instead of accused terrorists, immigrants, or even average Americans.

11. Dumbest post of all time
"Wall Street" is a vague entity, "OBL" is a specific person.

"The assholes on Wall street" have not done more damage to the country than Al Qaeda. And who do you mean by that? Everyone who works on Wall Street? Everyone who has invested in the stock market?

17. so you don't think those who peddled mortgage backed derivatives, knowing they were crap
and telling their top investors so while lying to everyone else should be punished?

You don't think their scams did more damage to America than bin Laden? Did 9/11 require trillions in bailouts from the Federal Reserve to fix?

responsible?

I guess that isn't dumb. It's just plain corruption.

21. so my post hurts more than the damage Wall Street did to America AND leaving it unpunished?
I didn't know I could accomplish so much with so little effort.

I could probably end life as we know it with a haiku.

20. What is wrong with this poll?
Some may find the analogy troubling and over-the-top, but that is the point.

The first choice is the only thing that steps over the line, so to speak. But I have so much spite towards Wall Street it really doesn't faze my sensibilities at all.

******

Again: who is in prison for this blatant robbery? Seriously?

No one. Not only that, but the cronies of those crooks are the Admin's financial gurus.

That is the point.
