(president obama and congress) have just about the right bill. because the republicians don't like it and the (some) liberals don't either. No facts just my opinion but hey it's a free country right.

i mean i've seen posts against the bill that are kind of like that.

and me and others who actually knew something about the bill and posted those things were the only ones who actually understood the provisions that opponents didn't themselves understand.

but i don't want to disturb your happy dreamtime land of caricaturing those who are in favor of the bill here. it's Saturday and well, we all need our entertainment.

5. Watch the passage. If Republicans vote for the bill en-mass, it is a sell out...

If they vote against it, Democrats did something right.

My bet is that Republicans will vote not to end the filibuster, and Reid has enough votes to end it.

Then, it will be put up for a final vote on passage. We might pick up Snow, but I'd be willing to bet that the final passage may need the VP to push it over the top in order to give Senators in more conservative districts a chance to vote against it.

But I am a proud incrementalist, though I am not a grammar cop.
