Christie Not Running for President, Says Spokesman
CLAYTON, Missouri — A spokesman for New Jersey Republicans shot down speculation that Chris Christie might reconsider and jump in the presidential race.

“Governor Christie is flattered that his accomplishments in New Jersey have received so much support from voters across the country but nothing has changed with regards to the Governor’s decision not to run for President in 2012,” according to a statement from Rick Gorka, New Jersey’s GOP spokesman.

Will this FINALLY end the media speculation? I doubt it.

1. Nope
Fuck's Noise will be beating the drum big time for him. Just as Rush Limpblob was beating the drum for Perry before he ran.

12. don't you just love the fact that they don't have a "star." Obama is
a hard act to follow....sure, he's struggling, and pissing us off, but he's
a kind, positive, informed, intelligent and reasoned man who rarely goes to the dark side
of petty negativism. Any of the current schmucks are going to look like assholes
next to him.

Republicans are so stupid. If only one of them, cooled off, was fully informed, nice and
positive and came up with reasoned, positive sounding ideas....we would
surely be toast.

11. That guy can't jog to the buffet, never mind run anywhere!
He is astute enough to know that he's only attractive for his bellicosity and forthright attitude. Once people started getting up close and personal with him, and really getting to know his rather meanspirited nature, they'd be less enthusiastic, I think.

The unknown is always attractive. He's a perfect "From A Distance" candidate, less perfect up close--and he knows it.

13. Last time I looked New Jersey people didn't like him much. Maybe
that straight-shooter MO wore off. I saw some clips of him
and he can be down-right rude and arrogant.

20. "so much support from voters across the country" how do the voters of his own state feel?
according to polls not so great. Anyway, there hasn't been an outpouring of support among 'voters' it has been a MSM invention--nothing more.

22. He's not ready on two counts that I can think of. One, he
has only been Governor for a short while and is inexperienced in discussing national issues. Two, his health. I believe he has asthma and with all the weight he is carrying, I doubt he could stand the rigors of being on the campaign trail.
