1. The Klown Kar Kanitdates show just how irrelevant our democratic process has become
It has reached the point where the PTB can not even pretend to have a real election.

3. Good point - compare their lineup to ours.
But I think this one takes the cake. Taken clueless to a whole new level.

4. What do you expect? They all owe allegiance to Limbaugh and Norquist.

They aren't leaders. They take orders.

5. 1996 was their most entertaining
Having Pat Buchanan and Alan Keyes on the same stage was worth not going out to see the debates.

6. How do they manage to get 8 clowns in one little car?
Especially Newt and his gigantic head. Many years ago I saw a news story about Newt during his school days. He went out for the football team but couldn't find a helmet big enough.

10. No, the 1932 GOP field was weaker
Incompetent ex-Senator Joseph France beat Hoover in the GOP primaries, yet he still got only token support on the convention floor.

12. Why would they want any strong contenders?

They certainly don't want to be in office during these trying economic times. They would rather scream and yell at every move made to correct anything. There is that, and the fact that they have a friend in the WH already....so why bother?

13. The American people demonstrated with their votes in 2010
that they want a bunch of incompetent dumbshits running the country.

Why should the GOP run strong intelligent leaders when it's the opposite that brought them electoral success in 2010?
