Did you know that Newt hangs out with Al Sharpton (and Barack Obama)?

Just thought you'd like to know . . .

Have I just been subliminally manipulated by Newty's occult Republicon black-ops Mindwankers for Groping? I thot that was Hermy's exclusive speciality. Apparently the Gropey Dopey thingy is epidemic amongst RepubliBaggers.

This club swings both ways.

The difference is that most folks on the left are intelligent and informed enough to know or to find out that President Obama enlisted Al Sharpton and Newt Gingrich to help with the President's education initiatives. Sharpton himself has been talking about this in the past couple of days in order to call Gingrich out on his hypocrisy. Folks on the left won't likely have a kneejerk, visceral reaction to seeing the President and Rev. Al working with someone on the other side of the political spectrum, especially in order to advance their objectives.

On the other hand, folks on the right are likely to not take too kindly to seeing their esteemed Newt anywhere near Rev. Al or the President, regardless the circumstances of their collaboration.

Surprised Newt wasn't caught measuring the windows in the Oval Office.

The man is unelectable in a general election. The conservatives are going through pangs of "anyone but Romney", but they'll soon resign themselves to the fact that the only one who is electable is Romney. Huntsman too, but has no traction (even though he does have 3 lovely daughters who have come up with some ingenious ads for him).

Newt has been on his best behavior, but sooner or later he'll do or say something that will remind people that he's an egomaniac. He already has a wacky idea that poor kids should make money by being janitors of their schools. He doesn't disappoint, sooner or later his crazy ideas come to the front. I remember in the 90s when he proposed eliminating foster care and reintroducing orphanages. Newt has always been full of ideas, mostly nutty ones.
