1. You are not reading it right.

You can read replies without being a donor.

The feature they are referring to is if you go to your "MY DU" page, and click on the listing of number of replies, you cannot read them there.

2. Thanks for clarifying that so can I go for a "twofer" here?

something else I have noticed is that when I click on threads posted by a couple of different folks here it triggers my antimalware protection and let me be clear that it is the thread itself not the link in the threads that I am talking about, so how and why does this happen is there some traceable residual of our I/P addresses on DU?

oh and just in case the posters I am talking about are not ones I deal with on any regular basis
