Do the Adminstrators and Moderaters Delete postings unprompted?
Do Du Administrators and Moderators wait until someone "alerts" on a post, or do they take action when they come across posts that violate the rules at DU?

If not, could I suggest you start doing so. After reading through several threads, obvious infractions are present through several threads and possibly if these were deleted quicker DU members might become more civil and more cognizant of DU rules and quit blatantly violating DU rules, especially rules of courtesy.

1. The moderators have the authority to delete posts without receiving any alerts.
But the site is very busy, and it is quite common that they are not even aware of disruptive posts.
