Dare I ask why this post was deleted?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x625327#628638

Of course, I have no idea what I posted, because it was deleted. But I can't recall posting anything that broke the rules.

This sort of deletion is particularly disconcerting when compared with other (alerted) posts in that same thread that consist of nothing more than the harassment and belittlement of other DUers from routine performers of incivility.

Oh well, I guess. It's your tavern, so you set the tone.

TIA

1. Upon review, this looks like one of those borderline cases.
The mods read the "these are just laws you've made up in your head" as a personal attack. But I think in context it seems in-bounds. I've undeleted it.

2. Thanks for the answer.
Again, not knowing the contents of one's deleted posts makes it hard to learn a lesson from the enforcement of the rules.

Now that I can see the post again, I can understand how the phrase in question could be considered borderline. It would have been better to remove the personal component entirely, and focus solely upon the failure to support a claim. Sometimes rhetoric gets the upper hand over dialectics.

The restoration of the post wasn't my goal, but thanks anyway. :hi:

3. By the way, your Admin "restore" function truncates the post title.
Just FYI.
