Are blogs allowed in LBN?

Rule #5 http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x87249">here clearly says blogs are not allowed, but that doesn't seem to always be the case. I've alerted on a blog/vanity site in LBN but it wasn't moved.

All blogs allowed in LBN or just some? If just some, which?

The mods take LBN threads on a case-by-case basis. The rule you linked to says "Do not link to blogs, vanity sites, or blatantly biased sources, except in cases where reputable mainstream sources are not available." This means that most of the time blogs are not acceptable for LBN, except in certain cases when they might be.
