Why was a post self-deleted by somebody else?

I had posted #65 in this thread
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=103x602485

As I recall, it was a link to the New York Times, a mainstream newspaper, about the sex scandal concerning the head of the IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn. It was at that time 8:30pm, perhaps 6 sentences, as the scandal was just developing and there weren't many details.

Because I have another life and don't spend 24 hours on DU, please tell me what I did wrong, and why it was 'self-deleted' by somebody else.

Thank you.

1. I don't think it's possible for a post to get self-deleted by somebody else.
Maybe someone else was using your computer?

3. P.S. If I recall, a moderator had sent something
Edited on Wed May-18-11 12:36 PM by DemReadingDU
Moderator requested an edit to be done. But it's really hard to edit something, after I had already shut down the computer.

I had no idea a short posting from the New York Times would ever have a mod request it to be edited. Perhaps there is an archive of mod requests that would show what was sent and what was asked to be edited?
and perhaps find out who deleted that posting?
Thanks!
