51. Locking

While the OP itself does not violate the rules, comments later in the thread by the OP stating that it would be better for the republicans to win do, so we have decided to lock this.

When Obama's actions are those supporting a Republican base...when HE is the one that thinks it would be better if Republicans controlled things because he capitulates all the freaking time, and certainly every time it is important, at some point SUPPORTING HIM AND THIS BS is indeed counter to the Democratic party. I didn't make it that way. I wish like hell it weren't that way. I worked for CHANGE, not this back room, leave you out of it, politics as usual.

Someone postulated in my thread that it would be worse under a Bachmann admin. They were trying to use fear to get me to "eat my peas". I said that at least under a repig, our base would garner activism, instead of the apathy we will now be faced with because the man I worked to get elected turns out to be closer on the political spectrum to Bachmann than he is to his own base.

That's not my fault. It's his. And that dichotomy is the problem with the rules. It's not that *I* want a Republican. *HE* does. :(

1. Respectfully, I don't think you know what is in President Obama's heart.
But I think it's fair to assume that he does not actually want Republicans to win.

Here on DU, we don't want Republicans to win either.
