Change to rules wording?
Just wondered if there was a post explaining the changes and the rationale behind it.

Maybe the change has been out for awhile and I just noticed it.

One of the changes that concerns me is the wording about 'justifying not voting' seems to have been removed.

Are posts that attempt to justify not voting considered ok now?

(I noticed a couple other changes too but this one concerns me most.)

1. We made a couple of tweaks
which we hoped would add a bit of clarity to a few of the rules. We didn't think it was worth making an announcement over. We believe the rule you're talking about, "Supporting a non-viable or third-party spoiler candidate in any general election," is pretty self-explanatory now. We won't automatically ban anyone who attempts to justify not voting -- although it depends on the context of course. However, once we've entered election season (which we are defining as "when both major-party nominees become clear") then that sort of thing will not be acceptable.

2. Thanks ... still a little confused.
Should I continue to alert on posts that attempt to justify not voting?
