And I disagree with the reasoning:

This is Democratic Underground. We do not permit advocating against voting for Democrats here.

Did the mod read the entire post? I was "advocating against voting for Democrats". I was stating that I wouldn't vote for the Democrats who are currently in office if SS cuts are instituted. There are plenty of other Democrats who are perfectly willing to fight for SS and those would be the ones that I support.

In addition, is it more important to vote for candidates just because they are Democrats even if they refuse to uphold Democratic Party ideals or to actually uphold those ideas?
