2. It seems to suck up a bit of resources

So if you are not doing anything dangerous, you do not need to have it on but when doing random web surfing it's great at blocking malicious websites.

3. Everyone: Be careful downloading software you've never heard of.

Go look for reviews of it from reliable sources before downloading. Seriously. Not every program is a good program, and not every malware and virus protection program is good at what it does. Read reviews before downloading such software.
