credit, but I do think people are overestimating the influence of one sick guy on dialysis and the impact of his death in the larger scheme of things. At one time he was probably the main guy in al Quaeda, but I think he has long been sidelined.

I don't think we will get our civil liberties back, nor do I think the fraudulent WoT, which is actually just a profit driver for the MIC, will start winding down now that OBL is dead. Nor do I think the Republicans will stop stealing elections.

The euphoria in the pictures is probably out of proportion to the significance of the death, though our delight that this came on Obama's watch is certainly appropriate enough.

23. Whoever They Are
They are sheeple to believe the biggest lie ever told, that "terror" is coming to get you and Osama is their leader.

The terrorists are in the banking institutions. The terrorists are in the defense industry. The terrorists are in the halls of political power. They kill far more innocent civilians than some dirt camp leader could hope to do in a hundred lifetimes.

Osama Bin Laden has been dead since 2002.

THANK YOU for this.

As hubby and I said last night - How will our lives be any different tomorrow? Americans will still be forced to eat the same shit tomorrow that they were fed today.

that so many people would be motivated to celebrate someone's death, when hardly anyone showed up to protest torture.

36. I don't relate to this sort of thing.
I'm not condemning it, but I don't get it particularly. If, for instance, I lost loved ones on that day, I would not celebrate anything about it. Quiet reflection, perhaps. That picture reminds me of some sporting event, and not something involving a great deal of bloodshed.
