Very interesting and engaging ... i.e. Al Jazeera moles in Pakistan saying how "this
was a gift from Pakistan Gov't/Intelligence to the USA" ... a bargaining chip if you
will, in ongoing negotiations between the US and Pakistani gov'ts.

Check it out here ... no sign of their coverage stopping anytime soon.

1. AJE correspondent reporting from Pakistan just said

that the mansion where OSB had been living was "very close" to the Pakistani Military Academy.

NBC reported earlier that a U.S. military helicopter had had "mechanical problems" and crash landed in the mansion ground. It was destroyed by the troops who conducted the raid, according to the NBC correspondent.

Lots of details still to come, will be interesting.

2. This is such a fascinating moment to be "eves-dropping" as it were on the Arab World's
"reactions". Lots of juicy details getting teased out.

esp.. re: Pakistani collaboration with US operations in getting Osama, reasons behind this, etc.

I'm loving it, just in terms of that feeling of history unfolding in each moment in tandem with so many others on the planet, who are in the same.

OMG ... the al jezera woman announcer just got all tounge-tied with the Obama-Osama similarity ... saying "tonight Obama was killed in Pakistan".. then ..
"oh no I mean OSAMA was killed." weird moment.

3. Personally, I don't think there is any way Pakistan was involved in this.
Nothing would have been dumber than to let anybody in the Pakistan know about this in advance. We may say they helped but that's just to let them save face.

7. Pakistan, in the very least, looked the other way while the operation was executed.
Osama's mansion was built 5 years ago in the midst of military installations, with Pakistani military personel looking the other way.

10. They actually said that they had credible leads before
this and when they did hit a suspected site the culprits had cleared out. They felt their was a leak with the Pakistani gov. That's probably where the pressure came down on Pakistan...let the U.S handle this.

9. Yur most welcome.
Such a fascinating moment to be "listening in" as it were to both the USA and Arabic streams of thinking and feeling, juxtaposed in the same broadcast.

8. A gift?
Wow. A gift from the country that turned a blind eye to a huge compound outside of the nation's capital?

What a joke. I hope we don't get milked more by these motherfuckers like we have been for the last ten years! Maybe we can finally stop giving them military aid...and even maybe get the fuck out of the region.

11. Getting "the fuck out of the region"
is the part I really resonate with the most. Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan, Libia, et. al.

Let's regroup as a nation to kick global ass on sustainability, renewables, sustainable energy, because "yes we can".
